RENT
This was my first experience operating the spotlight for a musical. This gave me an in-depth learning opportunity about a key part of lighting that helped build my capacity to adapt quickly and power through mistakes/challenges. It strengthened my strategic planning and how I self assess, problem-solve, and go on with the show.
I also got to improve my spot-operation skills and learn about the organization and process of creating spot cues and incorporating them into the lighting design of the show. During this production (as Spot 1) I had a total of 50 solo cues and 87 joint cues per show. This creates a total of 1,233 cues for the entire run.
