BFA Dance Showcase was my design debut at the University of Florida and provided a full creative opportunity that allowed me to develop my voice as an artist, collaborate with others, and think outside the box. I got to work on four individual works, all with different stories and emotional impact.

This show taught me a lot about how to adapt and collaborate with other artists without losing my artistic voice. For this show we had a rep plot and a requirement that all works could only have three lighting looks in total. It was a great exercise that introduced me to some of the many possibilities of the type of work I can do professionally.
